Was in here last week and our server Kaitlyn was amazing! I ended up not exactly loving my first dish ( pregnancy doesn't help), and she took it back immediately and got me something else fairly quickly! The shrimp scampi was delicious! I've always been a fan of this restaurant but after this experience I would go back 100x more!
This was my first time visiting the Rocklin location. The service was great and fast. They also have a good selection of beer, although it is not on the menu. The food I had was okay. It lacked flavor. It looked amazing, but all you tested was pesto. I understand that was the main component, but the chicken should have flavor. The garlic fry was not great either. I chose it thinking I would not need any additional sauce, but you definitely will need ketchup, ranch, or some other sauce with it. The ambiance is casual. It's crowded.
Came out to Skipolinis to support Ruhkala Elementary fundraiser. We ordered the Skip's Dip and Bruxelles Fritti. The Skip's Dip was a classic Italian started oil and vinegar dip. The bread was fresh and warm. The Bruxelles Fritti was delicious. I would def order again. We also ordered a family size Cesar salad--so good. I'm pretty sure they make their dressing in house. For the entree we ordered the legendary Prego Pizza. It has every topping you can imagine. I think it was good but would have been better if it cooked a little bit longer. It was slightly over done. It was a busy restaurant--it's Friday night. Our server was great and stayed on top of refills and other needs (ranch, napkins,drinks). I appreciated they had a small playground outside for kids to play on. It's a great family friendly restaurant.
I love Skips. Great salads and pizzas. The entrees aren't good but that's not their specialty. Stick to the pizza.
I enjoy skipolinis. The pizza is delish. The salads are nice and the pasta is good. I the wait staff here in Rocklin is very friendly. Don't miss the gelato. Have it after your meal or take some home. I consider skips one if the better restaurants in the area.
Ray took very good care of us very polite, great recommendations, highly recommend asking for rays section if you are coming in! NY Strip was great all around great experience.
Great Food, great service. The waitresses and hostesses were awesome. Our 15 minute wait turned into a 5 minute wait.
My impromptu visit to Skipolini's turned out to be a delightful.As I stepped into Skipolini's, I was greeted by an ambiance that was both inviting and quintessentially Italian. The staff at Skipolini's were the epitome of hospitality. The Chicken Piccata was wonderful. The chicken, succulent and tender, was enrobed in a zesty lemon-caper sauce that was bold yet balanced, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them.
